EUGENE, Ore. – Twelve players from Oregon’s 2015 baseball team who are expected to be a part of next year’s team are competing in summer wooden back leagues around the country this summer.
Five of those Ducks are playing in the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League, two each are playing in the Jayhawk Baseball League, Northwoods League and the West Coast League, and one is competing in the California Collegiate League.
Left-handed pitcher Matt Krook and shortstop Mark Karaviotis are playing for the Wareham Gatemen in the Cape. Right-handed pitcher Trent Paddon is with the Brewster Whitecaps while catcher Tim Susnara is competing for the Cotuit Kettleers of the CCBL.
