For Oregon Ducks football fans, that answers came far too easily.
While Tagovailoa helped lead Alabama to a come-from-behind 26-23 national title game win over Georgia in overtime, earning "instant legend" status according to Chris Fowler, each play was salt in a still-healing wound for Oregon fans.
The freshman went 14-of-24 for 166 yards, three touchdowns and an interception, leading the Crimson Tide to all 26 of its points.
