Former Oregon Duck Troy Brown Jr. was selected in the first round of the 2018 NBA Draft by the Washington Wizards, who already know what they have in a rising young star.
Brown was the second youngest player in the NBA Draft. He enters the league hungry to improve his game after struggling in his one season at the College Level with the Oregon Ducks. Despite shooting just 29 percent from three-point range last year, he did find points in key games for Oregon at home but struggled on the road.
In a road game at Arizona, the shots simply did not fall for him, but when the Wildcats came to Eugene, Brown and the Ducks found a way to beat Arizona, who played without Head Coach Sean Miller.
