EUGENE, Ore. – Two track and field alumni and a pioneering staff member have been selected to receive the University of Oregon athletic department's annual awards, athletic director Rob Mullens announced Friday.
Jody Mortimore has been named the recipient of the 2019 Leo Harris Award, Kaarin Knudson is the honoree for the 2019 Becky L. Sisley Award, and Karen Nelson has been selected as the Order of the O honorary member.
The three will be honored as part of Oregon's Hall of Fame ceremony on Oct. 25 and will be recognized during the Washington State football game the next day.
