DALLAS – Oregon junior linebacker Troy Dye, senior defensive end Jalen Jelks and sophomore defensive tackle Jordon Scott all were named to the Bronko Nagurski Trophy Watch List on Tuesday morning.
Oregon is one of eight programs with three or more players on the watch list, including one of three Pac-12 teams. Dye, Jelks and Scott were a major part of the Oregon defense going from No. 126 nationally in total defense in 2016 to No. 46 in 2017.
A preseason All-America choice by Athlon Sports (first team) and Phil Steele (second team) this offseason, Dye has led Oregon in tackles each of the past two seasons.
