The Oregon Ducks entered the week with 20 public commitments in its 2019 recruiting class and approximately four more spots with which to work.
Among those four open spots, Mario Cristobal and his coaching staff appeared to be targeting at least one (and possibly two) more front-seven athletes to add to the defense.
On Thursday, Oregon found a solution, as 247Sports three-star defensive end/outside linebacker Treven Ma'ae announced his commitment to Oregon.
The 6-foot-4, 240-pound athlete, out of Bishop Gorman High School (Las Vegas, Nevada), committed to the Ducks over offers from Arizona State, California, Louisville, Nebraska, Oklahoma, USC and others:
