The NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships come to Eugene in June for the last time until 2021, and it remains to be seen what kind of show the Oregon Ducks will put on for the home crowd.
Early indications are not promising.
The latest Track & Field News form charts show the Oregon women ninth and the UO men 18th.
That is similar to DyeStat, in which the Ducks are 10th in the women's rankings, and don't register in men's rankings.
It's a long way from last season, when the UO women completed a triple crown -- national championships in cross country, indoor and outdoor track in the same academic year -- thanks to Raevyn Rogers' thrilling anchor leg in the 4x400 relay, the last event of the women's outdoor meet.
