LOS ANGELES – The Oregon track and field combined events athletes gave the Ducks a jump start at the Pac-12 Championships this weekend with eight points in the decathlon and five points in the heptathlon.
Mitch Modin scored for the second-consecutive season in the decathlon, taking fourth with 7,417 points while Joe Delgado finished sixth with a personal best of 7,337 points. Dakotah Keys finished 10th after a no-height in the pole vault took him out of contention to win his fourth title.
Freshman Ashlee Moore finished fourth in the heptathlon with a personal best of 5,512 points, becoming the first Oregon freshman to score in the heptathlon since Brianne Theisen in 2008.
