Three Ducks picked on day three of the MLB Draft

Eugene, Ore. – Senior catcher Jakob Goldfarb, sophomore outfielder Jonny DeLuca and junior pitcher Kenyon Yovan were all selected on day three of the 2019 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft on Wednesday.

The Chicago White Sox picked Goldfarb in the 24th round, the 710th overall pick. The selection marks the third straight season the Ducks have had a catcher selected in the draft. Goldfarb is the first Duck selected by the White Sox in the modern era of the program.

The Los Angeles Dodgers selected Jonny DeLuca in the 25th round with the 761st overall selection.
