Tyner could have the opportunity of a lifetime with the Oregon Ducks. A new coaching staff, a newly invigorated player who has the speed to win – but Tyner is not coming back to Eugene. He has decided to make a comeback in Corvallis for the Oregon State Beavers and Gary Anderson.
His reasons for not returning to play for Oregon are not his fault. When he took his Medical Retirement back in 2015, it made him ineligible to return to the Ducks, per NCAA Rules. In waiting two seasons before attempting a comeback, he also waives the standard requirement of waiting a season before playing again, making him eligible this upcoming season.
