EUGENE - A tough meet came to a hard end for the Oregon men Friday night at Hayward Field.
While Florida was edging Texas A&M for the men's NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship before a crowd 11,488, the Ducks needed a pair fourth-place finishes from senior Kyree King in the 100 and 200 meters and to get to 19 1/2 points and ninth in the team standings.
This is a UO program that won a second consecutive men's national championship as recently as 2015. On Friday, the Ducks finished with the fewest number of points they've scored in a men's NCAA meet since 2003.
