Justin Herbert’s first official start came against Oregon’s most hated rival. The hometown hero didn’t save the day, the Ducks lost 21 to 70 at home in a game that broke Oregon’s 12-game winstreak over washington, but the fact that Herbert was able to throw for two touchdowns, 179 yards and just a single interception against the No. 5 Huskies gave Duck fans a silver lining on a dark day in program history.
