The University of Oregon women’s tennis team extended its season-opening winning streak to five with a 4-2 victory over Portland on Saturday at the Student Tennis Center.

Oregon claimed the doubles point after a tight battle on court 3. With the match tied at 4-4, Tilde Jagare and Juliet Santitto won the final two games to secure the first point of the day. The duo improved to 2-0 together this spring, while Avery Jennings and Julia Visaya notched a 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles for their second victory of the season.

The Ducks quickly built a 3-0 lead in singles, thanks to dominant 6-1, 6-1 performances from Patsy Daughters on court 3 and Jagare on court 5—both remaining unbeaten at 5-0 this season.
