It's a rare occurrence to see an Oregon high school football player earn five-star status on recruiting sites.
Aloha running back Thomas Tyner (2013) and Hillsboro athlete Colt Lyerla (2011) both entered that discussion, but even they weren't unanimous five-star talents.
The latest Oregon prospect to make a run at five-star status is class of 2018 athlete Talanoa Hufanga, who is rated the top two-way player in the country by both Scout and 247Sports.
But despite that lofty status, the 6-foot-1, 200-pound prospect, out of Crescent Valley High School (Corvallis, Oregon), is still looking for a fifth star.
