EUGENE, Ore. — Playing for their postseason lives, the Oregon baseball team continued to take care of business Wednesday, beating Gonzaga 2-1 at PK Park to sweep a midweek series and win for the fourth time in five games.
The Ducks (31-22) probably can't afford to lose more than a game or two over their remaining seven if they intend to keep playing. "We needed those two games," junior Phil Craig-St. Louis said. "We need every game. We'll go out there and compete for every inning, every pitch, and try to make it.
