EUGENE, Ore. — Six different Ducks scored a touchdown in Oregon's season-opening win over Bowling Green, and the UO football team spread the fun around even more Saturday when eight different players reached the end zone against Portland State.
In all, 12 Ducks have at least one touchdown, the most in the country through two weeks of this college football season. Ohio State and Boston College are second with 11, one more than Alabama, Oklahoma, Boise State, Mississippi State and Miami (Fla.).
"Just a bunch of weapons," said junior quarterback Justin Herbert, one of those 12 players to score, on his rushing touchdown in the opener.
