LOS ANGELES – drove in two more runs and dazzled defensively again, but it wasn't enough as Oregon dropped the rubber match to USC, 8-2, Sunday at Dedeaux Field. The Ducks' junior third baseman inched closer to tying a couple of program records and made another incredible catch in foul territory in the seventh inning.
How it Happened: The Trojans (23-27-1, 11-14-1 Pac-12) got on the board first with three runs in the bottom of the second. After a pair of singles to open the inning, CJ Stubbs drove in the first run with a two-out single before Ben Ramirez plated the next two with a single one batter later.
