Statistically speaking: Oregon back in top 20 scoring offenses after Civil War

EUGENE -- Oregon returned to the top 20 in scoring after padding nearly all of its stats in the Civil War.

The Ducks (8-4, 5-4 Pac-12) are second in the Pac-12 and 18th nationally with 37.2 points per game after a 55-15 win over Oregon State.

Oregon also improved its rushing average by over 18 yards per game and is over 190 yards per game for the first time since beating Washington.

CJ Verdell, who became the first FBS player with four rushing touchdowns and a receiving touchdown in a game since 2016, is approaching 1,000 yards rushing for the season and has over 300 receiving yards.
