You don’t have to look far on the stat sheet to tell that the game on Sunday at Stanford was a total team effort. It was Oregon who was dominant from the start, and even though the Cardinal tried to fight through it, the Ducks were not to be denied. It seemed that for every defensive stop that Stanford thought they had, Oregon had an outlet pass that was a knockdown three-point dagger from anyone on the floor.
Stanford was handed the worst loss in Head Coach Tara Vanderveer’s career at Maples Pavillion by 40 points, 88-48.
