Stanford running back Bryce Love missed last Saturday's game against UC Davis due to an undisclosed injury. A week earlier, on Sept. 8, Love carried the football on a second-and-five play with 1:38 remaining in the fourth quarter of Stanford's 17-3 win against USC.
Love's injury is "undisclosed." There's been a lot of speculation about it being a concussion. Love, who had 136 rushing yards against USC, is a human biology major, and wants to be a pediatrician when he's done with football. Given the apparent type of injury and the position he plays, Stanford wisely didn't appear to be rushing to get him back.
