For 39:57, Stanford completely outplayed Oregon, so it was no surprise that the refs didn’t didn’t send Dillon Brooks to the line with a chance to tie the game; the Ducks having squandered so many on their own. After their 6 game winning streak the Ducks were the talk of the basketball world; a consideration for a #1 seed, and a road trip against two teams at the bottom of the conference standings.
So, they get thrown to the curb by Cal, and then lose to a Stanford team that two nights before had lost to Oregon State by 12.
