A look back at Oregon’s month of practices that culminated in the Spring Game on April 30.
DEFENSIVE BACKS
Where things stood: It took most of the 2015 season for position coach John Neal to identify a unit that could stabilize Oregon’s play on the back end. That group employed Tyree Robinson at cornerback and Charles Nelson at safety, but entering this spring, Nelson moved back to offense full-time, and Robinson returned to safety. Arrion Springs showed flashes down the stretch last season of being a shutdown corner, coming up with a massively important interception to clinch the Ducks’ win at Arizona State.
