SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Fueled by strong performances on the opening day of the NCAA West Preliminary Round, Oregon picked up right where it left off by adding eight more qualifiers to its total on Friday at Hornet Stadium.
The women added six qualifiers to bring their two-day total to nine, while four others advanced to Saturday's final round in the 200 meters and 100-meter hurdles. Senior Sabrina Southerland continued her dominance in the 800 by posting the top NCAA time of the year and a new PR at 2:00.72, while the Ducks will send three to Eugene in the 400 meters and two in the 100 meters.
