Oregon struck first in the opening frame when Emma Cox singled to right, bringing home Kaylynn Jones for an early 1-0 lead.
Arizona State responded in the third, capitalizing on a two-run double from Tiare Ho-Ching and a sacrifice fly by Kelsey Hall to take a 3-1 advantage. The Ducks battled back in the fourth, as Jones roped a two-run double to center, tying the game at 3-3 after a Sun Devils fielding error.
