FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Oregon played No. 10 Arkansas level in the second half, but the Razorbacks had too much firepower in the opening frame as the Ducks fell to the SEC preseason favorites, 4-0, Thursday at Razorback Stadium.
After conceding four goals in the first half, the second half was a different story as the Ducks (0-2-0) played the Razorbacks (2-0-0) to a scoreless draw.
"In the second half we went toe-to-toe and that was the plan at the start but we didn't come out the blocks as planned," said head coach . "Once we started to breathe and were able to get into the rhythm of the game, I thought we showed some very good pieces.
