EUGENE, Ore. — The Oregon soccer team will enter Pac-12 play riding a four-game win streak, the longest for the Ducks entering conference play since 2005, after Sunday's 2-0 victory over Idaho before 605 fans at Papé Field.
The UO women (6-1-1) followed up Friday's historic win at Portland by holding the Vandals to one shot Sunday. Marissa Everett scored both Oregon goals in the first half, and the Ducks unleashed a barrage of chances in the final 10 minutes but were unable to add on.
"We talked about enjoying the win on Friday night, but the next morning saying, OK, that's it, we are done," UO coach Kat Mertz said.
