TUCSON, Ariz. – Day one of the 2019 Pac-12 Championships was interrupted by a lightning delay which started at approximately 7 p.m. (PT), just after the second of four heats in the men's 100-meter prelims. Up to that point, the Ducks had collected 11 qualifiers for Sunday finals.
The Men of Oregon are up to 24 points in the team race, scoring in the javelin and hammer throw. The Ducks' field efforts including a third-place finish by redshirt senior John Nizich in the javelin.
