Oregon Football’s class of 2022 just added 300-plus pounds to the roster with the commitment of 3-star defensive lineman Sir Mells out of Henderson, Nevada.
According to the 247 composite, the 6-foot-4, 310-pound lineman is the 12th best prospect out of Nevada and the 111th best at his position. His entire junior season at Liberty High School was cancelled due to the pandemic, so it’s very likely that he would’ve risen in the ranks given the opportunity to play.
Mells also received offers from Michigan, Maryland, and Fresno State, as well as PAC-12 foes Arizona, USC, Oregon State and washington.
