EUGENE, Ore. — Anthony Mathis set a Matthew Knight Arena record with nine three-pointers as the No. 15 Oregon men's basketball team beat Boise State on Saturday, 106-75.
The Ducks (2-0) never trailed in the game, and led by as many as 36 before finishing off the Broncos. As a team Oregon was 13-of-19 from three-point range, after making only one three-pointer in the season opener.
"We were taking whatever they gave us," Mathis said. "A lot of guys were making shots tonight; we were very fortunate for that. They found me in the right spots.
