STANFORD, Calif. – Senior Chris Duarte scored 24 points and fellow senior Eugene Omoruyi added a double-double to lead Oregon past Stanford 71-68 Thursday night at Maples Pavilion.
Like he did in the matchup in Eugene, Duarte did most of his damage late in the game. He scored 19 of his 24 points in the final 10 minutes of the second half.
"We know Chris is a scorer," said Omoruyi. "He knows how to score in bunches so when he gets hot you just have to keep finding him."
The Ducks (15-5, 10-4) tied a season-low by committing just seven turnovers.
