EUGENE -- A second member of Oregon's heralded freshman class has been sidelined by injury.
Ducks freshman guard Will Richardson, who was the No. 46 ranked recruit in the 247Sports Composite in last year's class, has a foot injury that will likely keep him on the bench to start the regular season.
"His foot's bothering him," Oregon coach Dana Altman said of Richardson, who did not play in the Ducks' scrimmage loss to Kansas State. "Nothing serious, just going to be out for a while."
Richardson, a 6-foot-5 guard, was working towards being the backup to point guard Payton Pritchard.
