For Dion Jordan, life in the National Football League has not been easy. His early career has been plagued by injuries, mainly to his knees that have kept him out of the competition to get onto the field. He was selected third overall by the Miami Dolphins in the 2013 NFL Draft, entering the offseason with a torn labrum. The Dolphins took the gamble anyway and it has not paid off.
Jordan has also been suspended for violating the League’s Substance Abuse policy. He missed the entire 2015 season. He never failed a drug test, but his test was diluted resulting in a third strike and a season suspension.
