Junior Sabrina Ionescu has received a slew of accolades this season: she repeated as a Nancy Lieberman award winner for point guard of the year, was selected as an All-American by the WBCA, USCWA, and AP, and won the Wade Trophy as the most outstanding player.
The Oregon Women’s Basketball team finished their historic season with a program first Final Four appearance and a 33-5, 16-2 record. Ionescu had an NCAA record eight triple-doubles this season which added to her NCAA career triple-double record of 18.
She finished averaging 19.9 points, 8.2 assist and 7.4 rebounds. Ionescu is the first Oregon Duck to win the Wooden Award.
