Coming off a Saturday 81-45 win at Long Beach State where Kobe Bryant was in the house, the Ducks returned home for a quick Monday turnaround to face UC Riverside. While Ionescu was the storyline with her 20th career triple-double, leading the category in both Men’s and Women’s College Basketball, it was a freshman point guard who was also getting some attention.
Jaz Shelley has played well in games this season, but on Monday afternoon, she shot the lights out scoring 32 points hitting ten three-pointers to go with two free throws. Shelley started in place of Satou Sabally who got the day off and was a little banged up according to Head Coach Kelly Graves.
