Sabrina Ionescu rescues Oregon in the fourth quarter, lifts the Ducks over Syracuse

EUGENE - It was on the verge of getting away from the third-ranked Oregon Ducks Saturday in Matthew Knight Arena.

Maybe, it should have. No. 18 Syracuse had run off 10 consecutive points to take a six-point lead and the momentum with 2:06 left in the fourth quarter.

But Sabrina Ionescu wouldn't let it happen.

Oregon's junior All American struck with back-to-back three three-pointers in a 26-second span to check the Syracuse momentum and restore order as the Ducks escaped with a 75-73 victory before 6,879.

Ionescu finished 26 points, 10 rebounds and six assists in another superb all-around game.
