EUGENE, Ore. - A year after being named the Pac-12 freshman of the year, sophomore Satou Sabally has been named a finalist for the Cheryl Miller Award, given annually to the nation's top small forward.
Sabally, a 6-foot-4 forward from Berlin, Germany, averaged 10.7 points per game last season while shooting 46.1 percent from the field, 37.0 percent from three and 78.7 percent at the line. She was the top scoring freshman in the Pac-12 last year. Sabally also averaged 3.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 24.1 minutes per game.
Sabally had her best game last year in one of the Ducks' biggest games.
