EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon sophomore forward Nyara Sabally was one of 20 players named to the preseason watch list for the Katrina McClain Award, presented annually the nation's top power forward.
An All-Pac-12 performer a year ago, Sabally led the Ducks in both scoring and rebounding, averaging 12.9 points per game and 7.3 rebounds per contest. She ranked third in the conference in field goal percentage, shooting 54.7 percent from the floor while ending the year fourth in the league in rebounding.
Sabally reached double figures in scoring in all but four games in 2020-21, including 10 straight and 17 of 18 to end the season.
