Ryon Healy Goes 0-2 In First Game As Seattle Starting First Baseman

The Oakland Athletics were the team that drafted Ryon Healy and had plans for him at Third Base. Last season was an impressive one for the former Oregon Duck. Healy started the season in the Minor Leagues and hit the majors mid-season with momentum. His first at-bat was a three run homerun and it was all upwards from that point.

Despite not being in the MLB Playoff race last season, Healy made an impression as a dependable backup player that could be inserted into the lineup.

He gave 100 percent effort on every play. Unfortunately, Healy was not in the long-range plans for the A’s and he was traded last November to the Seattle Mariners.
