Nobody in Oregon history has rushed for more yards than Royce Freeman.
The senior Oregon running back broke LaMichael James' career rushing record on Saturday with a 16-yard rush in the fourth quarter. Freeman needed 140 yards entering the game to break James' mark of 5,082 yards. As of writing this late in the fourth quarter, Freeman had 160.
Freeman, who returned to Oregon after a disappointing junior campaign, has rushed for 900 or more yards in each season at Oregon. His best season came as a sophomore, when Freeman rushed for 1,836 yards and 17 touchdowns.
