CORVALLIS — A disjointed performance on the road resulted in Oregon's first season sweep at the hands of Oregon State in nearly a decade, as the Beavers downed the Ducks 72-57 on Saturday night in Gill Coliseum.
The UO men committed 18 turnovers and allowed OSU to shoot 49 percent, including 53.8 percent shooting by the Beavers as they outscored the Ducks 45-29 over the final 20 minutes. Oregon had won four of five entering the game but plays four of its last six regular-season games on the road.
How It Happened: Oregon (15-10, 6-6 Pac-12) was in command out of the gate thanks to early sharp-shooting from three-point range, which masked issues with turnovers in the first half.
