EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon track and field teams will head to Sacramento, Calif., this weekend for the NCAA West Preliminary Round, which will run from Thursday to Saturday at Hornet Stadium. The Ducks will look to qualify as many student-athletes as possible for the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships (June 6-9) at historic Hayward Field.
The Ducks' goal in Sacramento will be simple: finish in the top 12 in your event and book your ticket back to Eugene for the national championship meet.
UO will have a total of 60 entries this weekend at the NCAA West Preliminary Round, with 31 on the women's side and 29 for the men.
