EUGENE, Ore. — The Oregon men's basketball team showed no lingering effects from its heartbreaking loss three days earlier in an 81-60 victory over Southern California on Sunday before 8,148 fans in Matthew Knight Arena.
The Ducks had an extra day to shake off the overtime loss to UCLA, and head coach Dana Altman's team responded by shooting 56 percent overall and making 13-of-24 from three-point range to beat the Trojans.
"The very next day at our practice … the message (from Altman) was, things happen, and you have to move on," UO senior Paul White said.
