It was a five-star recruiting week for the Oregon Ducks and a disappointing one for the Oregon State Beavers.
On Thursday evening on "Recruiting with Andrew Nemec" on 1080 The Fan, Crescent Valley five-star athlete Talanoa Hufanga cut his list to a final six of Michigan, Nebraska, Oregon, UCLA, USC and Utah, eliminating Alabama, Notre Dame, Oregon State and Washington in the process.
The 6-foot-1, 200-pound athlete, out of Corvallis, Oregon, spoke at length about his reasoning for including each finalist, and also explained why Oregon State just missed the cut.
Earlier in the day, Oregon basketball received good news when five-star small forward Louis King announced his commitment to the Ducks over fellow finalists Kansas, North Carolina State, Purdue and Seton Hall.
