LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Oregon men’s golf team carded the low round of the day Wednesday at the Southern Highlands Collegiate to finish in 10th at the par-72, 7,374-yard Southern Highlands Golf Club on Wednesday. Junior Sulman Raza finished in third.
How It Happened: Oregon was the only team in the 15-team field to card a subpar round on Wednesday, firing a 1-under 287 to finish the event in 10th at 24-over. USC took home the team title at 5-over, finishing four strokes ahead of runner-up Florida and 10 strokes ahead of third-place Oklahoma.
Sulman Raza bested his 3-under 69 in Tuesday’s second round with a 68 on Wednesday, dropping in five birdies over the final nine holes to wrap up an impressive tournament.
