LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Led by junior Sulman Raza, the Oregon men’s golf team is in 13th after two days of competition at the Southern Highlands Collegiate.
How It Happened: The Ducks carded a 9-over 297 in Tuesday’s second round at the par-72, 7,374-yard Southern Highlands Golf Club. USC leads at 4-under after carding an 8-under 280 on Tuesday. The Trojans are the only team in the 15-team field under par, followed by Arizona State at 3-over, and Texas and Florida tied at 5-over.
Sulman Raza turned in a strong second-round effort on Tuesday, firing a 3-under 69 to wind down the day in a tie for 21st.
