Quincy Guerrier, top-50 national prospect, includes Oregon Ducks in top 3

The Oregon Ducks men's basketball program has had a newsworthy week on the recruiting trail.

During the first week of the college basketball recruiting scandal trial, Oregon was mentioned twice in the proceedings.

First, the attorney for Adidas executive Jim Gatto claimed Oregon offered "an astronomical amount of money" in an attempt to secure former five-star prospect and Louisville basketball player Brian Bowen.

On Wednesday, documents revealed former Oregon player and five-star prospect Troy Brown Jr. was accused of being given $5,000 for "Mayweather tickets."

That's the bad news.

But there was also plenty of good news, as well.
