Jadon Canady was recruited to Tulane in 2021 as a mid 3-star prospect (0.8456) in the 24/7 Sports composite. He saw extensive action his true freshman season as an inside or outside cornerback early in the rotation, recording stats in eleven games in 2021. Canady continued as a starting outside corner with the Green Wave in 2022 as a true sophomore, but suffered a serious ACL and meniscus tear to his right knee at the end of the seventh game against Memphis and missed the rest of the year and the following Spring practices.
In May of 2023, Canady transferred to Ole Miss and spent the entire 2023 season in Oxford rehabbing his knee, making brief appearances in two games and attending practices in a no-contact jersey with a brace on his leg.
