For the fifth straight year, the softball team will host an NCAA regional. The Pac-12 champion Ducks (44-8) will play Fordham Friday at 8:30. Long Beach State and Baylor will also take part in the regional.
The lawsuits aren't over for the NCAA, as former Duck football player Daniel Cook (71-73) filed suit against both the NCAA and Pac-12. Cook's lawyers are claiming they "actively concealed" the "debilitating long term dangers of concussions" over the years, as the suit covers Oregon football players from 1964 to 2010.
