Women’s basketball is a two seed in the Portland region of the NCAA tournament and will face Portland State in the first round. The 1 seed in the region is Mississippi State. Oregon defeated Mississippi State 82-74 at Mathew Knight Arena earlier in the season.
Louis King is taking time off of practice in order to rest his ankle and get ready for the NCAA tournament. King played in the conference final on the ankle that he twisted during the second half of the Pac 12 tournament semi final game against Arizona State. The ankle is described as sore but not swollen.
