Basketball suffered another at least short term injury blow when freshman point guard Will Richardson hurt his foot in practice. Richardson was a 4* recruit and was anticipated to be the primary backup for Payton Pritchard. Coach Altman says it’s nothing serious but he’ll be out for a while.
Basketball will open their season with an exhibition against Western Oregon University tonight. WOU was a strong 31-2 last year and advanced to the NCAA D II tournament. The game will be televised on the Pac 12 network at 7:00 PM.
